Birthday

Hey Friends,

Tomorrow, October 19th, is my mom's birthday. Please keep my family in your thoughts as this is a hard day. She would have been 45 years old. I have my traditions, of walking to where I spread her ashes, and quitely singing Happy Birthday. So if you can, give your mom a big hug tomorrow! Thanks again for everyone's support in saving lives. This journey of grief is hard, so I am glad we can help prevent others from joining this journey. Thank-you, and I hope you all have a great week!

Mini Walk Completed

Hey Friends,

The mini-walk was GREAT. There were so many people there showing support. Again I wore a gold necklace representing losing a parent to suicide. My Aunt Deb, cousins Brittany, Brain and David joined me in the walk showing support. I am very sorry, I do not have photos. As soon as I whipped out my camera, it ran out of batter! I will try to get photos from friends, sorry guys!

We walked a total of five miles. The wind was blowing at a good speed, but we all still persisted. There were people there from the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, telling us of how the money will be used. A lot of the money raised thus far has gone to medical research, helping to save lives. I also meet the Harrisburg area American Foundation for Suicide Prevention committee. They were a great group of people and have done a lot for this area.
