Week 1

Hey Friends,

I hope everyone is having a great week. I registered for the walk with the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. My team is Andrew's Angels. I'm joined again by my great friend Gayle. I have many ideas for this year on different kinds of fundraisers. I talked with my boss about possibly doing another bake sale, I'm crossing my fingers that we can make this work.

There was a donation on Monday by my boyfriends father and wife, thank-you both so much. Your donation is towards saving lives. Thank-you all for helping people that truly need help.

Therapeutic Poetry; Walk

Hey friends, so I'm making this a ritual, every time I begin doing a fundraiser I will post this poem. I wrote this a while ago and I believe it states what I'm really doing. Hope you all like it, comment me with your thoughts.

Walk

I am a girl,
fighting to live,
fighting against myself
to live.
My mother my best friend
she drew her last
breath.
and left me here to
breath without her.
Courage, my courage laid
with her in that coffin.
Now I walk this gray
path, telling my story.
Hope and strength run through
me.
Many changes occurred for
me to be
this way.
I am a girl with a
story.
My mother made herself
breathe her last breath.
But I will still stand.
My story is to never
take your life.
I walk everyday
without her.
Breathing without her.

New Year, New Opportunity to Save Lives

Hey Everyone,

The day has come to start the fundraising for 2010. This year the walk will be in Boston, Massachusetts. The walk will take place on June 26th. So from now until June I have a goal of raising 1,000 dollars for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
